OREGON – Oregon Residents now have access to recycle their mattresses for free. Thanks to a new Oregon state law, called the Oregon Mattress Stewardship Act, the Mattress Recycling program is allowed to operate in Oregon. “ Before this program, mattresses were commonly being landfilled or burned at local incinerator, to the tune of at least 600 mattresses per calendar day around the state,” said Mike O’Donnell, the Chief Operating Officer of MRC.
