Drink Options Full bar: wines, craft cocktails, mocktails, and about 20 beers on tap. Elevated wine list important to ownership.
Hours Taphouse: Sun-Thu ~11:30am-9pm; Fri-Sat ~11:30am-10pm. (Some sources say 11am starts on some weekdays.) Courts open daily 7am; later evenings Fri-Sat.

Why This Matters Locally

  • Year-round utility – Many recreational spots in Bend slow down in winter or are reliant on weather. Having covered, heated courts and indoor gathering space helps keep the fun going through cold months.

  • Community hub potential – With food, sport, drinks, and dog-friendly spaces, Ballers & Brews aims to be more than just a spot to play. It looks designed for families, casual hangouts, friends, and visitors.

  • Fills a gap – While Bend has many breweries, food truck lots, and courts here and there, nothing quite combines all that into one destination under one roof with this level of comfort and design.

Some Fine Details & What to Know Before You Go

  • Reservations for courts can be made via CourtReserve as early as two weeks in advance. For those wanting a more spontaneous session, community hours will be available. Rentals are set to cost around $40/hour or $75 for two hours — good to check if special pricing applies to peak times.

  • The rooftop deck and some amenities (like the outdoor movie screen, etc.) are coming features — not all may be ready the first day.

What’s Next & What to Watch

Ballers & Brews promises to add flavor to Bend’s social and leisure scene. It could influence nearby businesses, traffic patterns, and more regular demand for late-evening recreation. For city planners, local government, and residents, this raises questions like:

  • How will it affect parking & traffic in the Redside Court / 10 Barrel East area?

  • Will the courts be used by leagues or tournaments?

  • Will “expansion” be possible (more courts, more trucks, etc.)?

The Bottom Line: Something Special in Bend

Ballers & Brews isn’t just another place for a snack or a drink—it’s a well-thought-out combination of play, food, socializing, and inclusion. If you’re looking for a spot where you can start your morning with pickleball, hang out with dogs, enjoy diverse food trucks, or settle into a cozy taphouse in the evening, this hits the sweet spot. Mark your calendar: September 21 will be a day to remember.
