In this video Simon demonstrates how to tie an effective golden stonefly nymph. This pattern does not employ a heavy bead, rather it’s on the “lighter” side by design. Lighter facilitates the “tumble” stonefly nymphs often go through in high water and as they make their way towards shore in order to become adults.
